AI for Power Challenge
Incubatenergy Labs® (IEL) is joining forces with the Open Power AI (OPAI) Consortium to launch the AI for Power Challenge. The collaboration will facilitate rapid demonstrations with technology providers and energy companies to derisk new AI technology solutions.
SAFERai.power
SAFERai.power is an EPRI-led, OPAI-aligned initiative to build the risk framework, evidence templates, and open-source assessment tools needed before AI is deployed into utility workflows.

The DCFlex initiative is a pioneering effort to demonstrate how data centers can play a vital role in supporting and stabilizing the electric grid while enhancing interconnection efficiency.
LEAP
LEAP (AI Assistant for Accelerating Distribution Planning and DER Analysis Studies) is a secure, agent‑based AI assistant that helps utility engineers automate repetitive distribution planning / DER impact studies through natural‑language workflows, reusable “Notebook” best practices, and planning‑tool API integration—so work starts with a question, not a process map.
